As a Senior Senior Software Engineer (Backend) you'll be working closely with the CTO & the product team to lead the way in taking new feature concepts through to architecture. You will have responsibility of designing, architecting, building & maintaining the API's & backend systems.

The Ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a backend engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of Ruby & object-oriented software engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database systems (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Preferable knowledge of React.
• You recognise Agile, TDD, DDD, CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Clean Code, RESTful and when you would use them.
• Experience in working with patterns of distributed software systems, test automation, continuous integration & Git.
• Working knowledge of security & vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of the German language is a bonus!
