Join our clients team in Utrecht as the Head of Development. In this leadership role, you'll oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to maintenance. Your main responsibilities include shaping the software development strategy for energy solutions, managing a team of software experts, and ensuring top-notch software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute software strategy aligned with our goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and standards.
- Drive efficiency through best practices and emerging technologies.
- Identify and mitigate development risks.
- Work alongside COO & CPO.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, inspire and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Set clear objectives and foster a culture of innovation.
- Capabilities (OUTPUT)
- Deliver high-quality, energy-specific software solutions.
- Streamline processes for faster, more efficient development.
- Cultivate team growth and innovation.
- Drive technological advancement in the company.
- Not afraid to get hands dirty (hands on).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of leadership in energy software development.
- Proven track record in energy software projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
