The Role: 

• Managing and mentoring the team whilst remaining hands on with product development
• Overcoming modelling challenges and making and maintaining effective solutions
• Building a robust platform that serves millions of worldwide users
• Overall responsibility and monitoring/ identifying issues within the process and crafting solutions and improvements to the platform
• Experience managing and leading engineering teams

Experience

• An empathetic management style – keen to develop individuals in the team
• Experience in developing and running highly-available, high-traffic, and customer-facing services.
• Experience in building highly secure, reliable, and resilient systems
• Great problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

Systems skills 

• Advantageous - knowledge of distributed systems
• Experience in complex system design
• Background in Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS
